Product Details

The Danfoss KP1 Pressure Switch is a reliable and proven control and safety device designed for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It provides effective protection against abnormally low suction pressure and excessively high discharge pressure, helping to safeguard compressors and system components from damage. Thanks to its robust mechanical design and precise switching performance, the KP1 is widely used for both system protection and automatic control in HVAC and refrigeration applications.

The KP1 pressure switch can be connected directly to single‑phase AC motors up to approximately 2 kW, or installed within the control circuits of DC motors and larger AC motors. It is equipped with a single‑pole double‑throw (SPDT) switch, allowing flexible control and safety logic. The switching action is determined by the preset pressure setting and the actual pressure applied at the connection port. To suit different installation environments, the Danfoss KP1 is available with IP30, IP44, and IP55 enclosure protection.
